A county under siege, civil unrest, brother vs. brother, bloody coups, and a master puppeteer pulling the strings to assure that he will secure the crown for himself. America in 2020/2021? Nope. This is William Shakespeare’s ""King Richard III,"" which traces Richard of Gloucester’s ascent to power and eventual fall from grace during the War of the Roses that changed the direction of the British monarchy. Both in-person and virtual live stream options will be available for The Department of Theatre and Musical Theatre's production of ""Richard III."" Showings will run from March 3-6 at 7:30 pm each evening with a 2 pm Saturday matinee. In-person showings will be in the Erica Starr Theatre in the University Theatre Center. Facemasks are required on campus and social distancing practices will be observed. Limited seating available.
